to control all the technical, administrative and human elements
that affect the quality.
In this concept and according to the ISO 9000 standards, several
special considerations will be made regarding the quality guarantee
of this offer.
Together with the technical documentation of the projects, PREFABRICADOS
MARCOTULLI C.A. will give an Inspection and Testing Plan to guarantee
the quality of its products.
CONTRACT´S REVISION
Once agreed upon the negotiation terms, this will be put in a
contract for the implementation of the work. In the contract,
the following will be revised:
∑ The requirements have been properly documented and defined
∑ The fact that any special requirement that differs from
the ones in the offer has to be defined and specified.
∑ That both parts are in conditions to uphold the contract’s
requirements.
∑ That the contract’s reach and exclusions are clearly
defined
∑ That the commercial terms of the negotiation are clearly
defined.
PURCHASES
Supplier’s evaluation:
Reinforcement Steel: supplied by the client. (together with the
quality certificate)
Cement and aggregates: Subject to the continuous monitoring and
evaluation of the suppliers for the concrete plant of Prefabricados
Marcotulli C.A.Materials’ specifications:
The particularly required are:
Portland cement type I ASTM C150-76 COVENIN 28-76
Thick aggregate #1 ASTM C33
Fine aggregate ASTM C33
Plasticizer additive GRACE WRDA- 19
Structure steel TENSIDOR COVENIN 317 CCCA:A AC.101-65. Elasticity
limit 4.200 kg/cm2. Tensil resistance> 5.000 kg/cm2. Elongation
8% in 20 cm.
Others according to project specifications
The materials, when necessary, will have a Quality Certificate
from the manufacturer.
PROCESS CONTROL
The manufacturing of prefabricated elements and their installment
will be carried out according to a program previously established
that guarantees the controlled way in which things are going to
be done, in order to not affect the quality of the products.
The processes will be controlled by the verification of the characteristics
of during their manufacture and transport.
The process equipment are revised and/or calibrated in a programmed
way in order to guarantee satisfactory results.
Manufacturing processes will be written on waybills that allow
the correct monitoring of the quality characteristics of the finished
product.
The parts are identified with a production number that allows
us to relate its history to the company’s quality records.
INSPECTION AND TESTING
Receiving inspections and testing
Our Quality Inspector shall inspect every received material in
order to check whether it is in conformity with the requirements.
The result of the inspection will be placed on record by means
of a reception inform.
The quality of the aggregates will be verified according to the
usual testing.
Process inspection and testing
The result of the inspections during the process will be written
on waybills of the parts where they will be identified according
to their production number.
In a periodic way, concrete samples will be taken in order to
examine the setting and compression and control the working effectiveness
of the mix, resistance when being emptied and resistance to 28
days.
Each production lot is associated in the registers to the results
in the analysis of the concrete that was used.
