| SECTION: |
solid
octagonal, defined by the diameter written in centimeters,
which can be constant to all the length (constant section
piles) or varying in 1.5 cm per meter of length (piles of
varying section) |
| LENGTHS: |
For standard Piles, 4.00 to 16.00
meter length.
In the case the pile length needs to be longer, it could
be solved by attaching several pieces by means of welding
metallic skullcaps built-in both ends of the parts, o con
vaciado de juntas con mortero epóxico. |
| CONCRETE
RESISTANCE : |
Concrete’s minimal average resistance on cylinders
is:
R.cc. after 24 hours: 220Kg/cm2
R.cc. after 7 days: 330 Kg/cm2
R.cc. after 15 days: 370 Kg/cm2
R.cc. after 28 days: 440 Kg/cm2 |
| REINFORCING
STEEL : |
Calculated
to resist the pressure created by the elevation, transportation,
driving and the static charges that it takes. |
| TRANSPORTATION: |
The
transportation of the piles is by means of trucks and it
goes from the deposit to the place where they are going
to be installed. |
| DRIVING: |
The
driving is done with diesel hammers type “KOBE”
K’13, K’25 or K’35 which move on a way
on a gantry crane, what permits using other equipment in
special cases. The piles can be put into place vertically
or not completely vertical. |
| REJECTION: |
During
the driving, resistance to dynamic penetration of the pile
is controlled. This resistance is related to admissible
capacity, through the application of proper driving formulas. |
